Robust 1/3-Horsepower Motor; Five Spindle Speeds
Powered by a robust 1/3-horsepower motor that provides plenty of torque for all kinds of drilling, the 30-251 has a 34-inch swing and 5/8-inch drilling capacity. It offers the versatility of five spindle speeds ranging from 620 to 3,100 RPM, and MT-2 spindle taper for quick changes from chuck arbors to end mill bits.

Fast Adjustments and Speed Changes
To help ensure consistency and precision, the 30-251 has a rack and pinion table height for fast, easy adjustments with the turn of a handle. There's also a clutch depth stop that sets quickly and assures accuracy, making the 30-251 ideal for repeated drilling.

Additionally, this drill press includes a speed-selection chart right on the machine, so you can match the correct speed to the job. For further convenience, a handy chuck key holder helps keep everything organized and where it should be.

Moving Head Accommodates a Variety of Board Widths
Whether the job is big or small, the 30-251 keeps things going smoothly. Large feed handles give you optimum control without sacrificing comfort, while the 360-degree rotating head tilts 45 degrees to the left and 90 degrees to the right--a great feature when you're drilling balustrades into stair railings.

Perhaps the most helpful design feature, however, is the moving head, which can shift back and forth for different board widths. This gives you the ability to drill on-center of wide boards or drill multiple holes along a center line.

Dimensions and Warranty Information
The 30-251 measures 64 inches high, weighs 134 pounds, and is backed by a two-year warranty.
